54-year-old man arrested for killing friend and throwing him into water, reenacting the crime scene

Police take 54-year-old man into custody for killing friend and dumping body in water to conceal it, reenacting the crime. The motive for the murder was jealousy, dating the same woman. Mr. Rung, 54, the suspect in the murder of his close friend, Mr. Yodrak, 53, who tied his body to a vegetable cart and threw it into a pond to conceal the body, was taken to the Tha Tako Police Station in Nakhon Sawan Province to reenact the crime scene at the suspect's residence, which was where the deceased and the perpetrator were drinking alcohol before they argued and the murder occurred. Mr. Rung used a 2x4 to hit Mr. Yodrak in the head twice until he died. He then tied the body to the vegetable cart with old electrical wires and tied a sack of bricks and rocks to use as weight before pushing both the body and the deceased's motorcycle to dump in a pond about 50 meters away from the back of the house. The police then took the suspect for questioning at the police station, with Pol. Col. Itsarat Handam, Superintendent of Tha Tako Police Station, personally questioning him. Initially, Mr. Rung was charged with intentional murder and concealing a corpse. After questioning, the police immediately took him to the Nakhon Sawan Provincial Court for detention. The murder motive revealed: The deceased was jealousy, dating the same woman. The chief of the Tha Tako police station revealed that from questioning the suspect, it was found that the murder motive was jealousy, as the deceased and the suspect were dating the same woman in Phaisali district, Nakhon Sawan province. The deceased had been dating this woman before breaking up. After that, the perpetrator went to date this woman, not knowing that she was the deceased's girlfriend before. Until the deceased found out that the suspect was dating his ex-lover, he became jealous. On the day of the incident, the deceased came to drink alcohol with the suspect under the house. Then, they argued. The deceased tried to get a knife to stab the perpetrator, which turned into a murder. Y esterday (July 25), relatives of the deceased Mr. Yodrak notified rescue workers to help search for Mr. Yodrak's body in a pond used for farming, just 50 meters from the perpetrator's house. Mr. Yodrak had disappeared from his home since July 18, along with his beloved motorcycle. Until relatives went to consult a fortune teller and were told that Mr. Yodrak had been killed and dumped in the pond. It appears that divers searching for Mr. Yodrak's body have indeed found it. The body had been dead for at least 5 days. The body was tied with rope to a cart, and there were bags of bricks, rocks, and cement tied to the body to add weight while hiding it.
