Bangkok decorates the city to celebrate the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King's birthday anniversary in 2567. (12 July 67) Mr. Ekwaranyu Amrapal, spokesman of Bangkok, revealed that on the occasion of the auspicious birthday anniversary of His Majesty King Maha Vajiralongkorn Bodindradebayavarangkun on 28 July 2024 and the birthday anniversary of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit the Queen Mother on 12 August 2024, Bangkok, through the Environment Department, has decorated the city with fresh flowers, yellow-toned flowers and ornamental plants and various plants, totaling more than 2 million plants, such as cosmos, dwarf sunflowers, zinnias, dwarf zinnias, cockscomb, celandine, Taiwan willows, ferns, bromeliads, dew, bougainvillea, Korean banyan, fragrant pine, lucky jasmine, and various orchids, such as mokara orchids, purple-flowered dwarf dendrobium orchids, white-flowered dwarf dendrobium orchids, phalaenopsis orchids, and oncidium orchids along the route, as well as improving the landscape along Ratc hadamnoen Klang Road, Democracy Monument, in front of the Supreme Court, and Na Phra Lan Road. The garden in front of Witsanu Chai Si Gate, Sanam Luang, Phan Fa Lilat Bridge, the base of Phan Phiphob Lila Bridge, Phlap Phla Maha Jessada Bodin Lawn and the area around Chitralada Garden, including important roads, will be beautiful to celebrate the auspicious occasion and express the loyalty of the Thai people.
