Bangkok kicks off ‘Good Skills Great Jobs’ job creation fair for 2024

Bangkok, Bangkok is organizing the Good Skills Great Jobs fair for people who are searching for a 'career they like' to 'create the right income' for themselves at the Airavat Development Building, Bangkok 2, Din Daeng, from July 24-26. Bangkok organizes the "Good Skills Great Jobs" job creation fair, chaired by Mr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Bangkok Governor, along with Mr. Sanon Wangsrangboon, Deputy Governor of Bangkok; Mr. Torsak Chotimongkol, Advisor; Mr. Surajit Pongsingwittaya, President of the Bangkok Council; Mr. Wiphut Sriwa-urai, First Vice President of the Bangkok Council; Mr. Chatchai Mordee, Second Vice President of the Bangkok Council; Mr. Suchai Pongphiachob, Member of the Bangkok Council, Khlong Toei District; Ms. Mathuros Bent, Member of the Bangkok Council, Saphan Sung District; Ms. Somruedee Lansuchip, Deputy Director of the Social Development Office; and Ms. Pichsinee Panket, Director of the Vocational Training Division. Mr. Chadchart revealed that the Good Skills, Great Jobs project is anot her project that will drive the policies of Bangkok to increase opportunities in the labor market, train careers, and develop new-era skills to meet the job market by organizing an event to showcase the work of Bangkok vocational schools to publicize the skills and career development courses of Bangkok vocational schools, create awareness for the public to access vocational training courses, which will lead to opportunities to further develop careers and generate income for the public, which will have a positive effect on the economic stability of the community and Bangkok. Bangkok hopes that this skilled career will be able to help people who do not have the opportunity to continue their education, the unemployed, and the laid off, to have the opportunity to continue their education in a vocational field according to their abilities, skills, and needs. Up-Skill and Re-Skill develop labor skills to be able to work in their main and secondary careers, stimulating the economy and increasing income for family i nstitutions and communities. In addition, the event also organized activities to showcase the skills of each of the 10 vocational training schools in Bangkok, such as Thai massage courses for health, gel nail painting, men's haircuts by hairdressing champions, astrology services, dog grooming, and booths providing knowledge and understanding of careers for participants, such as solar cells, electric tricycle drivers, baristas, wooden furniture, beauty and makeup, hotel housekeepers, fashion design, baked goods, Thai desserts, bakery, Thai food, Korean food, which were all provided free of charge to participants. In addition, there were networks of partners from various private sectors who came to perform for participants to watch, including dog fashion shows, dog hair dyeing, music and singing performances, makeup techniques, and various career booths, with staff on hand to provide advice to interested parties about the details of various career courses.
