Gang of teenagers riding motorcycles and using samurai swords to attack their enemies arrested

Police arrested the 'Bungalow Gang', a gang of 18 people riding motorcycles, using samurai swords and baseball bats, and attacking a rival group of teenagers, seriously injuring three of them, and some of them had their cheeks and ears almost cut off. The incident occurred on Ban Pae Road, Chang Phueak Subdistrict, Chiang Mai Province at approximately 3:32 a.m. on July 23. The surveillance camera captured the moment when a gang of 18 teenagers rode 6 motorcycles in a circle and attacked 3 teenagers riding a motorcycle with their friends. They used baseball bats, iron bars, and samurai swords to attack them, injuring 3 people. Some people were slashed in the right cheek with a samurai knife, causing a large wound and almost ripping off their ears. After the incident, the perpetrators rode their motorcycles to escape. After receiving the report, Chang Phueak Police Station officers went to the area to check CCTV footage and track down the escape route. They eventually learned that the group of teenagers who caused the incident was called the 'Bungalow Gang' and had a leader or boss named Mr. A (assumed name), aged 19. They led forces to arrest them at a rented house in San Pa To District while he was live-streaming selling shirts. It was discovered that Mr. A was a TikToker with a large number of followers. Teenagers from the 'Bungalow Gang' were arrested for using samurai knives and baseball bats to attack their rivals. The investigation then led to the arrest of all 18 members of the gang, 15 men and 3 women, aged between 15 and 19 years, along with evidence of swords, 7 samurai knives, 1 baseball bat, 1 iron bar, and 2 hand guards. The group of perpetrators were questioned and claimed that on the night of July 22, they were chased and slashed by a group of Thai and Burmese teenagers, causing injuries at the Chan Som Bridge, Ton Lam Yai Market. After the incident on the same night, they rode their motorcycles to search for their rivals until they encountered a group of Shan teenagers at the Maeng Pong Pier. They fought and punched each other, using knives as weapons. One of their rivals was slashed in the head and injured. After that, they went their separate ways and fled. The next night, we met up to ride our motorcycles to look for our rivals again. We found them riding their motorcycles along the Chiang Mai-Lampang Superhighway heading towards the Maya intersection. When we reached the opposite side of Wat Chet Yot, there was a group of about 5 teenagers riding 2 motorcycles heading towards the Khwang Sing intersection. So, we honked our horns at them. The group of teenagers driving the opposite way shouted at them to expose their private parts and gave them the middle finger. So, we made a U-turn before reaching Maya. The victimized group of teenagers turned left onto Photharam Road. So, they chased after them on Ban Phae Road. Then, one of the group rode their motorcycles, honked their horns, and cut them off. They were able to catch up with the victim's last car, which consisted of 2 men and 1 woman. The other car escaped. Then, they ganged up on and physically assaulted the victim before they all went their separate ways. Initially, the police invited the parents to meet and inform them of their children's behavior before pressing charges against the group of 18 teenagers on charges of jointly causing physical harm to others, resulting in serious injury to the victim, gathering in groups of ten or more, using force to harm, threatening to use force to harm, or doing something to cause chaos in the country, and committing the crime of being a den of robbers. - Thai News Agency Source: Thai News Agency
