The Tarannum Al-Qur'an Course is organised to produce more Qari and Qariah among youth and to bring them closer to loving the Al-Qur'an and to deepen the discipline of Tarannum Al-Qur'an by talaqqi or discussion and musyafahah or consultation with skilled teachers. The Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs was speaking during the Launching of Tarannum Al-Qur'an Course for Pre-Advanced Level, 4th August morning.
Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohammad Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan encouraged the participants to continue to be pro-active while learning Tarannum Al-Qur'an. He also expressed hope that they will become the successor of the next generation and become a figure or expert in tarannum field.
15 participants including 4 female participants are taking part in the course. They are graduates from the Youth Al-Qur'an Reading Scheme, STAR. The course is divided into two sessions. The first course is taking place this month, while the second course will be held on September. It will be organised every Friday and Sunday at the Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Tahfiz Al-Qur'an Institute.
